We analyzed 50,000+ search impressions across 185 countries to understand how developers discover and use Claude Code. These reports contain original data no one else has published. Every finding is drawn directly from Google Search Console data covering a 28-day window ending April 17, 2026.

The Five Research Pillars

1. Who Uses Claude Code? Data from 185 Countries

A geographic breakdown of Claude Code interest worldwide. We mapped search impressions and clicks across every country that showed activity to reveal where adoption is strongest and where untapped demand exists.

Key finding: The top 10 countries account for the vast majority of impressions, but some of the highest click-through rates come from countries you would not expect.

2. Why 26,619 Impressions Generated Zero Clicks

The zero-click crisis is real. We identified every page that appeared in search results but failed to earn a single click, then analyzed what they have in common.

Key finding: 744 of 1,000 pages generated zero clicks despite appearing in search results thousands of times.

3. What 1,024 Search Queries Reveal About Developer Needs

A full taxonomy of the questions developers ask about Claude Code. We categorized every query by intent, topic, and specificity to expose the gaps between what developers want and what content exists.

Key finding: Over 60% of queries target specific integration or workflow problems, not general “what is Claude Code” questions.

4. Why US Developers Have 0.4% CTR vs 6% in Denmark

The United States generates the most impressions but has one of the lowest click-through rates. We compared CTR across the top 20 countries to understand why and what it means for content strategy.

Key finding: US CTR sits at 0.4% while Denmark reaches 6%, a 15x gap that suggests fundamentally different search behavior by market.

5. Lessons from Building 2,675 AI Articles

What happens when you publish 2,675 articles targeting AI developer topics? We share the raw performance data, the mistakes, and the structural changes that moved the needle.

Key finding: Fewer than 5% of articles drive meaningful traffic. The rest taught us what not to do at scale.

Methodology

All data comes from Google Search Console, covering the 28-day rolling window ending April 17, 2026. We analyzed the top 1,000 pages by impressions, 1,000 queries, 185 countries, and 3 device types. For full methodology details, see our Data & Methodology page.
